Starting in 2021, I embarked on a journey into the realm of content creation and video production, fueled by a passion for storytelling and creativity and armed with a desire to share my perspectives and insights with the world, I dove headfirst into mastering the art of crafting compelling narratives and engaging visuals. From interning at my hometown Chick-fil-A to leading the Video Desk at the Red & Black I have gained experience in everything from Video Production to Social Media Management. Student Media Coordinator
University of Georgia Tate Student Center

During my role, I played a pivotal role in creating engaging social media visuals using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Collaborating closely with the Director of the Tate Student Center, I focused on developing compelling content tailored specifically for student audiences. I actively contributed to the production of visuals, photographs, and promotional materials essential for fulfilling Tate's diverse marketing and communication requirements. Through strategic efforts and creative input, My team and I successfully increased Instagram engagement, reaching and connecting with over 100,000 unique accounts. This experience not only honed my design and collaboration skills but also demonstrated my ability to drive impactful results in digital marketing and student engagement initiatives.
Video Desk Editor
The Red & Black Publishing Co. Jan. 2022- July 2023
As Video Desk Editor, I spearheaded the production, editing, and pitching of more than 40 videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and prominently featured on the Red & Black homepage. Leading a team of 5 contributors and an assistant editor, I orchestrated seamless collaboration with other desk editors to ensure the timely posting of 2 weekly videos. With proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, I edited each video to meet high-quality standards and engage our audience effectively. Additionally, I managed video assets using the WeVideo Package, optimizing workflow efficiency and ensuring all content was delivered on schedule. This role not only enhanced my video production and leadership skills but also sharpened my ability to manage multimedia projects in a dynamic environment.

At The Poolhouse, I helped produce, edit, and transcribe educational content for Teachables and The Deep End Podcast, utilizing Final Cut Pro for video editing and Adobe Audition for audio refinement. Additionally, I leveraged Excel and Google Suite to meticulously schedule events and create detailed itineraries, ensuring smooth coordination and execution. I also played a pivotal role in facilitating virtual events, including industry seminars on Zoom featuring producer Sid Gain. This experience equipped me with valuable technical skills and organizational prowess essential for multimedia and event management roles.

At the College of Veterinary Medicine, I created compelling content and devised a strategic posting schedule for college's social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro, I adeptly crafted and polished engaging videos that resonated with our audience. My role also entailed close collaboration with various departments such as the Office of Development, Academic Affairs, and researchers to produce impactful digital content. This experience not only sharpened my content creation and video editing skills but also underscored the importance of collaborative teamwork in achieving high-quality results in multimedia production.

Cannes Film Festival May 2022- June 2022
If I had to pick one favorite moment from my time at the University of Georgia it would be my time at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. As a full-time attendee, I immersed myself in the world of international cinema, attending 40 competing film screenings over the 12-day festival, which showcased some of the coolest and most diverse stories in filmmaking. Alongside this, I interned for @Global Grady, where I curated and posted daily content throughout the program . My role also involved observing international film sales pitches and negotiations at the prestigious Marché du Film, gaining first hand insight into global production dynamics. Additionally, I completed coursework in International Film Markets and Critical Writing, engaging in mock pitches and honing my skills in film analysis and review. This experience was transformative, enriching my understanding of the film industry on a global scale.

Blume Photography Sep. 2021- Dec. 2021
During my internship at Blume Photography, I gained valuable experience in multimedia production. I honed my skills in writing copy that adhered to brand guidelines using Wordpress, and I contributed to the editing and post-production of diverse video and media projects using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud. Additionally, I managed extensive photo culling for events like weddings and senior portrait shoots, ensuring only the best images were selected. As part of my responsibilities, I also administered a thriving Facebook group with over 2,000 members, actively participating in daily content creation efforts. This internship provided me with a comprehensive understanding of multimedia operations in a professional setting.
Social Media Marketing Intern
Chick Fil A May 2021- Aug. 2021
During my time at Chick Fil A, I spearheaded efforts to revitalize community engagement and sales amidst COVID-19 challenges. With fewer customers dining in and community events like school spirit nights on hiatus, I focused on leveraging digital platforms. I successfully grew our Instagram following by over 400, using it to promote revamped events and promotions. Additionally, I produced training videos, designed graphics, and crafted engaging posts that attracted both new hires and customers post-pandemic. These initiatives not only boosted morale and customer loyalty but also reignited community participation, leading to a resurgence in local school partnerships and fundraising events.
